Program A New Garage Door Remote

The remote control is programmed.

Program a new garage door remote.

Program using your smart control panel. Hold the button down until the activator light on the garage door opener starts flashing then release the button. When purchasing a universal garage door remote check that it is compatible with your make and model of your garage remote equipment. To program a new remote into the system hold the learn button until the indicator light blinks on the opener.

Select remote to program from the program menu. Locate the program set button on your garage door opener. Press and release the button on the remote control that you wish to operate your garage door. Press the button on the remote control that you wish to operation your garage door.

Look for a square button usually on the left. Most likely they are all compatible but it best to make sure before purchasing. Step 1 collect devices to reprogram. Depress and hold the button labelled l learn or set on the new remote control unit.

While the indicator light is blinking press the button on your remote. You can program a universal garage door remote to suit your garage door opener. The garage door opener lights will flash or two clicks will be heard. Press and hold the program set button for about 2 seconds.
